Private Lessons

Private lessons in the privacy and comfort of your own home or at The Yoga Room Studio are strongly recommended for beginners, for those with limited range of motion, or for those who love having the practice brought to them!  Even a few privates can provide the knowledge and confidence to propel you into class with safety and success!


Private sessions include a 15 minute breathing and needs assessment and written prescription of suggested postures to practice. (Many students will wish to continue privates while others, will transfer to an ongoing yoga program in the community.)

Rates for Private Lessons:


$140 for 2 lessons

$360 for a package of 6 lessons

Family Rates:

$85/hour for 3-6 family members

Business or Social Events:

$125/hour for up to 15 participants

$150/hour for 15 – 20 participants




The Yoga Room on Cypress

Monday: 8 a.m. – Yoga for Cyclists
A practice designed specifically for cyclists, emphasizing core strength, diaphragmatic breathing, stretching of hips, hamstrings, back, pecs, etc.  Postures help the cyclist realign the spine, improve strength in the stabilizing muscles, corrects upper/lower body and right/left body imbalances.

Monday: 5:15 p.m. – Vinyassa Flow
Saturday: 9 a.m. – Vinyassa Flow
Union of breath and movement through a flowing sequence. Students move at their own pace; modifications provided.  Class promotes strength, flexibility, range of motion and balance.

Thursday: 10 a.m. – Restorative Yoga
Connection of breath to stillness so that the body can restore physically, mentally and emotionally.  Props are utilized to help support the body for maximum relaxation and minimum effort.  Great for recovery of injuries/trauma or as a balance to more strenuous practices.

Align and Flow at Zeal Yoga

Palm Beach, FL., Monday 9:15 a.m.

A practice  focusing on cultivating the breath, opening the body with a mindful sequence of poses and building strength, all with particular attention to body alignment.  Class includes essential oils, breath work, props as needed and meditation.
